Satellite

Satellite systems are becoming a common choice to run as an additional service to terrestrial TV or as a complete alternative for properties that struggle to receive a reliable terrestrial signal due to their location. Sky have provided satellite systems for years and until last year, this was the only option for people who wanted satellite reception of British TV channels. Sky offer a 'FreeSat' option which enables the customer to make a one-off payment for the box and dish equipment which will provide them with a selection of free channels all year (no subscription).

In May 2008, the BBC & ITV launched a new product (also called FreeSat!) which provides the same end result as Sky FreeSat, but is widely available 'off the shelf' from high street retailers. FreeSat set top boxes can be purchased by the customer and the cable and dish installed by an independent qualified engineer. A FreeSat TV is also available which holds the receiver equipment inside the TV (no box required).

We also specialise in dish maintenance (for Sky and FreeSat satellite), links to additional rooms and non-UK systems (Western & Eastern Europe and the Middle East) - please give us a call for more details.
