- Temporary WiFi broadband links
We consulted with:
1a Aerials were asked to provide WiFi coverage for The Really Wild Festival in 2015, which was hosted for the first year at Pwll Caerog farm, the home of Celtic Camping.
For one weekend to enable the festival to provide the full mix of entertainment to its paying visitors, the site was transformed into a professional event venue, providing essential electric, light and internet feeds to organisers and traders; to heat the coffee, chill the beer and ice cream, cook the food, announce programme activity, present food demonstrations and take payment.
Within the 250 acre farm, festival activities were housed in various areas, covering permanent farm buildings, temporary marquees and open farmland. 1a Aerials had already began on Phase 2 of the WiFi network for Celtic Camping and so it was perfect timing to introduce temporary WiFi links for the festival site.
High powered permanent access points were installed in the Stage Barn and other site locations. WiFi access points were then distributed around the festival site, which fed from the main network.
1a Aerials were on hand on the first morning to help stall traders get online for their time there and continued to monitor connection performance throughout the event.
If you are considering a one off event that may require temporary WiFi coverage, it may not be as costly as you think. Give us a call to discuss the options on 01437 711 142.
The Really Wild Festival is a fantastic event set in a breathtaking cliff top location, just down the road from St Davids. If you happen to be around in the summer, try to pop in.
