If your property receives broadband, you have the opportunity to create a network by connecting more than one computer or mobile device for use in several rooms.

Wired or Wireless?

Wired networks (Ethernet) are often the fastest and most secure way to share and edit files between multiple devices. Installation of Ethernet can be straight forward but does require specialist equipment and knowledge to ensure reliable operation.

Today’s wireless networks are now fast, secure and a viable alternative to wired networks where cabling is not practical. It also has the added advantage of allowing portable devices to be used in a WiFi area without the need to plug a cable into a network.
