Previously, their main fibre link from Bristol stopped here and became ‘wireless’ all the way to Pembs. Now with commercial fibre links into Carmarthen, the Swansea Hub was no longer needed.
With the road closed at 8:00am for Davies Crane Hire there was a buzz of activity until lunchtime, when everything had been loaded, ready to head back to Neyland.
